Race to the Alter Wedding 2008

In the spirit of Opening day tomorrow I just received the photos from last years "Race to the Alter" wedding where I was the official wedding planner for the event. I had such a good time with Michele and Jim... they were so thankful for all that was provided in the contest that they won! Here are a few pictures to show the event. Photographer was Michael Gallitelli of Metroland Photo. http://metrolandphoto.com/ he was really great to work with.

Here are the guys hanging out before the ceremony to be held in the winners circle... I believe the guy on the phone just one that race!!!

The Ladies out taking photos before the ceremony.

Between the races the ceremony was held in the winners circle with my friend and fellow vendor Robyn from Trinity Cottage Weddings. www.trinitycottage.com/home/html One of my favorites!

Just after the ceremony the happy couple and their bridal party got to stay in the winners circle to watch the following race. With their Flower girl aka granddaughter.

They received pictures with the winning jockey, and owners of the winning horse. So cool!
Getting a few shot before they were whisked away to the reception location.

Off to Saratoga National for the Reception! Thank you to Saratoga National for providing a great package to Michele and Jim! http://www.golfsaratoga.com/weddings.html check them out for a great location...

This is always one of my favorite shots that photographer try to capture! I love how you can see the loving way they look at each other... This is why I do what I do...!

Jess and Sean is not only a client but are friends that are so truly wonderful! They had the Perfect sunny day with an outside ceremony and a great team of professionals to make their day awesome! Photographer by DeWitt Photography out of Maine, DJ provided by Greg Frasier http://www.frasierentertainment.com/

Such a beautiful Bride!!! Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your wedding!

Sean was peeking out the window while Jess and the girls were getting their pictures done.

Small touch

Me with the happy couple... Not in true planner atire :)

These guys were having so much fun with each other they were totally laughing so hard that the photographer started laughing and had to stop shooting for a moment! Too funny!

The Cake tasted as good as it looked! This is the one thing that I look forward to at every wedding.

The photographer and I made these signs to use this picture for their thank you cards after the wedding!

Good Luck Jess and Sean may you always be as happy as you were on your day!

Kristen and Joe at the Desmond

Kristen and Joe were one of those couples that make me sooooooo grateful that I'm wedding planner! They were so grateful for everything thing that Hillary and I did for them. I love awesome brides and grooms!!! They had an overcast day but no rain.... whew!!! Photography by Dino Petocelli http://www.dinopetrocelli.com/wedding/index.php, videography by Capitol Videography http://www.capitalvideography.com/benefits.html. DJ by Jeffery Scott Entertainment. http://www.weddingwire.com/reviews/jeffrey-scott-entertainment-schenectady/2a7f4e598d378e02.html

Kristen listening to her last instructions before going into the church... :)

The Groom and all his guys before the ceremony.

Notice the wedding cake there is a NY Yankee and a Phillies symbol hidden! Cake was provided by Amy Mears and it was soooo yummy!

Here place setting with menu card and chocolate at a favor. Beautiful!

Me with the happy couple... They were so happy!

The Girls beautiful flowers!

Helping the Father of the Bride with his tuxedo!

Marissa and Mark at the Gideon Putnum

This was one of those weddings that will always remain in my mind. Marissa and Matt were so in love and with their 1920's themed wedding I think that they achieved the look that they were going for. Especially all of the red roses!

The Photographer was Frank Diemo http://www.frankdimeo.com/ he was with us all weekend and was really great. Check him out!
Me pinning on the boutiner... there is always one of the groomsmen that says Ouch!!! and then giggles - Thankfully they are always kidding!

One of the beautiful songs that Marissa and Mark picked for the ceremony.

Their cake was an exact replaca of Marisa's Grandmothers cake which was direct out of the 1920's the start of the vision...

At the end of the night all of their guest were treated to a candy station. You guessed it all the candies were "old time" candies with little picture frames to tell the type of candy and the story behind each one.

Matt and Danielle's Tiffany themed wedding

This wedding was such a blast... We had so much fun with all of the little details!!! Danielle worked really hard to make everything tye together for her Tiffany Themed Wedding. I think that she totally pulled it off. With great vendors and an awesome venue the wedding was a great time by all of their guests!

Seamus and Lauren -- Riverstone Manor

Lauren and Seamus' wedding was great! Everyone had a wonderful day to relax and enjoy the beautiful day. I had such a great time leading up to the wedding with this couple and both of their families. We started at the rehearsal at Cella Bistro where I was able to get to know all of their close ones and we moved right into the wedding at at St. John's in Schenectady. Finishing through the reception at River Stone Manor where they couldn't have been happier.

Lauren and her mom getting ready for the day! Thanks mom you were the best!
